Thank you so much for your interest in this beautiful container. Sacred Woman Festival was born from a deep longing; a craving for real connection among women.
In our fast-paced, disconnected world, it’s all too easy to feel lost, overwhelmed, or alone. This festival is a sanctuary where women can come together, build community, and gently peel back the layers of who we were told to be… so we can rediscover the powerful authenticity that’s always been within us.
This is a safe and sacred space for all biological women to gather, forge new bonds, and tap into strength, resilience, and sisterhood. A place to rejuvenate the spirit and nourish ourselves through connection, ceremony, and remembrance.
We are so honoured and excited to meet you out on the land, under the stars, where your true self is welcomed, witnessed, and free to rise.

Our Story
Meet the creators of this beautiful event, Danielle Couto and Malika Sellami.
Danielle and Malika first connected online in 2019, just as the world began to shift and shake. Through those uncertain, transformative years, they forged a deep, unbreakable sisterhood; one built on truth, vulnerability, and the kind of conversations most people shy away from.
They’ve walked through ups and downs together, always choosing radical honesty, compassion, and the courage to show up as their full, authentic selves. It’s this exact energy; real, raw, accepting; that they now bring forward for other women.
Both began their journeys in the realm of spiritual development, grounded in awareness, consciousness, and deep inner work. As their own personal growth unfolded, they felt a powerful call to gather women from across Saskatchewan and beyond… to sit in circle, to reconnect, and to remember their own sacredness.
Answering that call, Danielle and Malika; alongside an incredible community of women — have co-created the last three years of Sacred Woman Festival.
And now, with their hearts wide open, they cannot wait to welcome you into this year’s unfolding magic.
Meet Our Founders
Danielle Couto
Co-Creatrix
My name is Danielle Couto, Sacred Quantum Guide, Mother, Space Holder, and Gatherer of Women. My mission here in this life is guide souls back to themselves. To aid people in peeling back the energetic layers of trauma and ancient echos that continually hold us back from our inner knowing.
My inner work really started in 2015 when my husband and I decided to make the drastic change of moving jobs and provinces, making the choice to escape the matrix system and start listening to our hearts. Through this Journey I was led to first crystals and then energy alchemy practices to shift and transmute our energy fields in order to change the very reality we see around us. Through these practices I have grown my life to a place where I now can hold space for others and help guide them through their own awakening, growth and healing. Coming to this land we now call home has been a huge confirmation from Source/God/The Universe that we are where we are meant to be and that this is what we are meant to be doing.
I am a caretaker of the land, gatherer of women and soul guide in this incarnation, and this land that my family and I reside on is a huge part of this mission. We care for 80 acres of land just North of the Porcupine Plain Provincial Forest, in an area called "Nature's Gift" and it certainly is a gift. Immediately when entering the grounds a calm comes over you, a Divine connection to the divine mother, this feeling of peace and pause which has only been magnified with the Earth Healing Bundles that have been buried here on the land, anchoring this healing space into the grid of awareness and connection that spans multiple countries and continents.
The moment my husband and I set foot here we knew we were meant to gather here. We were meant to bring others here in community to receive from Mama Gaia and her gifts of these wide open fields, trees and forests, in nature as it was intended to be.
So please feel welcome and absorb the loving vibrations of my home, my Sanctuary, my safe space here on this plane as we gather together to get back to our roots to remember who we truly are and why we are here.

Hello I am Malika, the Chanting Queen: Vocal Sound Healer, Spiritual Musician and Mentor. I guide Women into receiving their Inner Voice.
I am a Mother to an 8 year old boy and we live in the country with 2 big happy dogs!
Why is Voice Activation so important on my life path?
My voice is a gift I received to utilize for greater good. I am honoured to be holding sacred space for humans at this time, in this earthly body, with this voice and being of service in guiding women on their path to their heart.
I’ve been exploring and playing with Voice from a young age. From choirs, to high school talent shows to international street musician, to kids’ entertainer, to folk multilingual singer song writer-band leader to award nominated Kirtan Musician, Sacred Chanting Circle Facilitator and Vocal Sound Healer + Mentor…
My voice and my musical instruments have guided me down the spiritual path of teaching Dharma and using Voice, Energy and Frequencies to heal and guide others to finding their wisdom within themselves, their connection to their personal power and their Inner Voice.
In my sacred in person chanting circles and ceremonies and my online programs , we use voice and breath to connect to our body mind and spirit, to our divine team and to deities. We use voice activation in form of Kirtan (bhakti Yoga) chants in Sanskrit, Pali or English. Kirtan is a devotional and heart opening practice, we recite prayers and chants, accompanied by guitar, ukulele, hand drum and frequencies. We calm our nervous system, activate our body and energy centres.
When I don’t hold space for others, I love to homeschool my son, to be outside, garden, make projects or dance around the fire, make magic happen in the kitchen!
I can’t wait to see you all this summer on the land and rejoice in community, sharing, healing, creative flow and connection!
